HOUSE RULES “BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT”

These House Rules set out the terms and conditions for reservations and stays, as well as the use of the holiday homes and the entire BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT property. By making a reservation and paying the deposit, the Guest accepts these House Rules.

 

§ 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. These House Rules form an integral part of the rental agreement and regulate the use of the rented holiday home, its facilities and the entire BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT property.

2. The person making the reservation is responsible for ensuring that all persons included in the booking are familiar with these House Rules and that the entire group complies with them throughout the stay.

3. Guests are required to comply with safety and fire regulations as well as any instructions given by the Host regarding safety, order and the proper use of the property.

§ 2. RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

1. The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit.

2. The deposit is non-refundable if the Guest cancels the reservation. If the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the reservation may be rescheduled once to another available date, subject to prior agreement with the Host.

3. The remaining balance for the stay, including the PLN 500 security deposit, must be paid by bank transfer no later than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.

4. Failure to make the full payment within the agreed period may result in cancellation of the reservation after prior contact with the Guest.

§ 3. NUMBER OF GUESTS AND VISITORS

1. Only persons registered as part of the reservation may stay overnight in the holiday home. The maximum occupancy specified for the respective house may not be exceeded.

2. Additional persons or visitors who have not been previously registered and approved by the Host are not permitted on the BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT property.

3. The organisation of parties, events, bachelor or bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, larger group gatherings, commercial photo or video shoots, or other events requires prior approval from the Host.

§ 4. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

1. The stay begins at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

2. On the day of departure, Guests are required to leave the holiday home in proper condition and return all keys provided to them.

3. A fee of PLN 100 per lost house key will be charged, unless the actual cost of restoring access is higher.

§ 5. SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The price of the stay includes:

1. accommodation for the agreed number of Guests,

2. standard consumption of water, electricity and heating, except for services charged separately in accordance with the offer,

3. provision of bed linen and towels,

4. use of the fully equipped kitchen,

5. one basket of dry firewood for the fireplace,

6. use of the facilities and equipment provided for the respective holiday home, in accordance with their intended purpose.

§ 6. ADDITIONAL COSTS

1. Additional firewood for the fireplace or outdoor fire pit is charged according to consumption. One additional box of firewood costs PLN 25.

2. Use of the Finnish sauna at FAMILY LODGE is subject to an additional charge based on actual electricity consumption and final sauna cleaning. Electricity consumption is measured using a separate meter. The charge is PLN 3 per kWh. Final sauna cleaning and laundering of sauna towels costs an additional PLN 40. Sauna costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

3. Pets are permitted only if they have been declared in advance and approved by the Host. An additional cleaning fee of PLN 100 per stay applies for each approved pet.

4. Use of the hot tub (Balia) is charged according to the current offer or according to individual arrangements agreed before use.

§ 7. HOUSEKEEPING AND GENERAL CONDUCT

1. Guests are required to maintain reasonable cleanliness and order inside the holiday home and on the surrounding property.

2. If the holiday home is left in a condition requiring cleaning beyond the normal scope of final cleaning, the reasonable additional cleaning costs may be deducted from the security deposit. The rate for additional cleaning is PLN 50 per hour.

3. Smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes or other tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside all holiday homes. In the event of a violation, the Guest may be charged the actual costs of removing odours, including ozone treatment and additional cleaning.

4. In order to protect the natural environment and maintain cleanliness, the use of confetti, glitter and similar small decorations that are difficult to remove is prohibited both inside the holiday homes and throughout the entire property.

5. Guests staying with pets are required to immediately clean up after their animals throughout the entire property.

§ 8. QUIET HOURS, MUSIC AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS

1. Quiet hours apply throughout the BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT property from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

2. After 10:00 PM, loud music, shouting, loud singing and noisy gatherings are prohibited on terraces, in gardens, around fire pits, by the lake and in all other outdoor areas.

3. Large portable party speakers such as boomboxes, as well as sound systems intended for loud outdoor parties, are not permitted at any time of day.

4. Outdoor music is permitted only at a moderate volume and must not disturb Guests staying in the other holiday homes or residents of neighbouring properties.

§ 9. LAKE, JETTIES, KAYAKS, SUPs AND BOAT

1. BLUE LAKEHOUSE RESORT is located directly on the lake. Particular care must be taken when using the lake, jetties and water sports equipment.

2. Kayaks, SUP boards, boats and any other equipment provided must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with applicable safety rules.

3. Children may stay near the water or on the jetties and use water sports equipment only under the direct supervision of an adult.

§ 10. FIRE PIT, BARBECUE, FIREPLACE, SAUNA AND HOT TUB

1. Fires and barbecues may only be used in designated areas.

2. Before leaving the fire pit, Guests must ensure that the fire has been completely extinguished.

3. The fireplace, sauna and hot tub may only be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions provided.

4. If any malfunction or defect is noticed, use of the relevant equipment must be stopped immediately and the Host must be contacted.

§ 11. PARKING

1. Vehicles may only be parked in the areas designated by the Host:

   • Lunette Lodge: maximum 3 vehicles

   • Bird Lodge: maximum 2 vehicles

   • Family Lodge: maximum 4 vehicles

2. Driving or parking on lawns and other green areas not designated for vehicles is prohibited.

§ 12. DAMAGE AND LIABILITY

1. The Guest is responsible, in accordance with applicable law, for any damage caused by the Guest or by persons included in their reservation.

2. Any damage, malfunction or defect noticed during the stay must be reported to the Host immediately.

3. If damage occurs, the Host is entitled to deduct documented and reasonable repair or replacement costs from the security deposit.

4. If the value of the damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the Guest may be required to cover the remaining reasonable costs in accordance with applicable law.

§ 13. SECURITY DEPOSIT

1. The refundable security deposit is PLN 500 and must be paid by bank transfer before arrival.

2. The security deposit is intended to cover possible damage and any agreed additional costs.

3. The remaining security deposit will be refunded to the Guest after the final settlement and after the condition of the holiday home, its equipment and the surrounding property has been inspected, no later than 3 business days after the end of the stay.

§ 14. MALFUNCTIONS, DISTURBANCES AND GUEST REPORTS

1. Any malfunction, defect, disturbance or other problem affecting the comfort of the stay must be reported to the Host immediately after it is noticed.

2. Reporting a problem while it is occurring enables the Host to respond promptly and take appropriate steps to resolve the issue.

§ 15. FINAL PROVISIONS

1. By making a reservation and paying the deposit, the Guest confirms that they had the opportunity to read these House Rules before completing the reservation and that they accept their provisions.

2. The person making the reservation is responsible for informing all persons included in the booking of these House Rules.

3. Any matters not covered by these House Rules shall be governed by the applicable provisions of Polish law.
